The mika tracking & event app serves as a valuable tool for athletes, enhancing the spectator experience during events.

With the "My Race" feature, athletes can receive vital information directly on their smartphones in real-time. This includes monitoring their current position, split times, and anticipated finishing times. Additionally, at select events, athletes have the opportunity to share their real-time location with spectators and friends using GPS and mobile data.

The "Track My Favorites" function allows fans, family members, and friends to create a personalized list of favorite athletes to follow along the race course or from home. Current split times and positions are displayed as they become available.

Furthermore, the leaderboard provides updates on leading runners, including forecasts for expected finishing times, which are regularly refreshed throughout the event.

It is important to note that continuous GPS usage may impact battery life. Therefore, it is advisable for users to fully charge their devices prior to the event.
